1. Introduction
1.1. Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern our relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.
1.2. The term ‘we’ or ‘us’ or ‘our’ refers to the owner of the website, a self-employed massage therapist based in the UK. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
2. Services
2.1. Health Drops Massage and Wellness offers a range of massage services as described on our website. The services may include but are not limited to various massage techniques and therapies.
2.2. All services are provided by Alexandra Truta, a self-employed massage therapist, certified and licensed in the UK.
3. Bookings and Payments
3.1. To book a massage appointment with us, you can either call us, email us or fill out the online booking form on our website. We will confirm your booking as soon as possible.
3.2. Payment for services is due at the time of the appointment. We accept cash and card transfers.
3.3. Deposit Requirement: Clients must pay a deposit before the appointment to confirm their spot. The deposit serves as a commitment to the appointment and helps ensure that your spot is reserved. As we do not have an online payment method, the deposit can be paid via card transfer.
3.4. In the event of a no-show or late cancellation (less than 24 hours before the appointment), the deposit will not be refunded. We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, but this policy is in place to respect our commitment to you and to help us maintain our schedule effectively.
3.5. Please ensure that you read and understand these payment and deposit terms before scheduling an appointment. If you have any questions or require further clarification, feel free to reach out to us.
4. Client Obligations
4.1. You are responsible for providing us with accurate and truthful information regarding your health, allergies, injuries, illnesses, or special needs that may affect your massage session. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and preferences, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet all of your requests.
4.2. You are responsible for respecting our professional boundaries and ethical standards during the massage session. We reserve the right to terminate the session at any time if you behave inappropriately or make us feel uncomfortable in any way. In such cases, you will not receive a refund and you may be reported to the authorities.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled time to avoid losing your deposit. As we do not have a cancellation fee, the deposit serves as a commitment to the appointment and will not be refunded in the event of a late cancellation.
5.2. Refunds, if applicable, will include the refund of the deposit.
5.3. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your booking at any time due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, injury, weather conditions or equipment failure. We will notify you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative date or refund of your deposit.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1. We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR governs how we collect, use, store, and share personal data. For more information on how your personal data is handled, please refer to our GDPR compliance statement.
